Terms of service
Version 2026-10-13. These terms are a contract between you and Joshua Harty, trading as Jobs Unfiltered ("Jobs Unfiltered", "we"), United Kingdom. Contact: privacy@jobsunfiltered.com.
1. What Jobs Unfiltered is
Jobs Unfiltered is an online job board. Companies list roles and review applications; people create a profile and apply. We provide the platform. We are not an employment agency or employment business, we do not select or introduce candidates on anyone's behalf, we do not charge success fees, we do not sell paid placement or boosted listings, and we are not a party to any employment or contract between a company and a candidate.
2. Accounts
- You must be 16 or over, and give accurate information. One account per person. Keep your password private; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- Employer accounts must use a work email at the company's own domain. By creating an employer account you confirm you're authorised to act for that company.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, post misleading listings, harass people, scrape the site, or use automation to apply or message.
3. Listings and applications
- Every listing must state a genuine salary range, the real hiring process, and (for agencies) the end employer. Listings that don't are removed.
- Listings expire after 60 days unless renewed, and must be closed with an outcome. When a listing closes, waiting applicants are told automatically.
- Companies must not use CVs or profile data for anything other than considering that person for a role they applied to or accepted an intro for. No adding people to mailing lists, no sharing with third parties, no training models on them.
- Offers made through Jobs Unfiltered must be in writing in the offer form and reflect the role as advertised. Candidates are shown whether an offer is inside the advertised range.
- Candidates must not misrepresent qualifications or include hidden text in CVs. We rebuild uploaded PDFs and show employers any hidden text we find.
4. Public track records
We compute and publish, per company, figures such as reply rate, median reply time, ghost rate, roles filled, and an aggregated respect score rated by candidates. These are derived from activity on the platform and are published in the interest of transparency. We don't edit them on request. If you believe a figure is wrong because of a technical fault, email us and we'll check.
5. Membership and payment
- Prices are shown on the membership page and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.
- Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel at any time from the membership page; access continues to the end of the paid period. No refunds for partial months.
- Company joining fees are one-off and non-refundable once the company is verified and listings are enabled, except that we'll refund on request within 14 days of payment if no listing has been posted.
- We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email of any price change.
- If we aren't yet enforcing billing ("free during launch"), features are provided free and may become paid with 30 days' notice.
6. Content and conduct
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a licence to store, display and process it to run the service. Don't post anything unlawful, discriminatory, defamatory or that you don't have the right to share. Job listings must comply with the Equality Act 2010; we remove listings that discriminate.
6a. API and integrations
- API keys and webhook secrets are confidential. You're responsible for everything done with your keys and for the systems you connect. Revoke a key straight away if it may have leaked.
- Data received through the API or webhooks may only be used to recruit and onboard for the role the person applied to or the intro they accepted. No bulk extraction for other purposes, no reselling or sharing, no profiling or model training.
- For data in your own systems you are an independent controller under UK GDPR: keep it secure, delete it when it's no longer needed, and honour people's rights requests.
- We may rate limit, suspend or revoke access for misuse, and may change the API with reasonable notice.
7. Privacy
How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Availability and liability
- We aim for the service to be available but don't guarantee it. We may change or withdraw features.
- We don't guarantee that any role will be filled or any application will succeed, and we're not responsible for the conduct of companies or candidates.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
9. Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can end your access if you breach these terms. Sections 4, 6, 8 and 10 survive.
10. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part is unenforceable the rest stands. We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email or a notice on the site 30 days before they apply.
